Adecco US, Inc. Welder 2nd Shift in Clyde, New York
Position Summary:
Hand (TIG) and orbital weld aerospace alloys (nickel, cobalt, stainless, etc.) for production of gas turbine fuel nozzles. Works with general guidance in a team environment.
2nd Shift 230pm-1030pm
Key Responsibilities:
R ead and interpret engineering drawings
Assemble parts prior to welding, ability to understand part fit-up and clearance requirements.
Weld production grade hardware
Perform visual weld inspection, including under 10x magnification.
Ability to section and polish hardware so that weld penetration can be evaluated.
Demonstrate proficient use of backup gases (argon).
Demonstrate proficient comprehension of weld terminology (i.e. Drop thru, negative/positive welds, porosity, etc.)
Use gage tools such as calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges, pin gages, and comparator
Ability to work in multiple welds per certifications
Meet standard work requirements at operation
Other tasks as directed by management
Required Certifications:
Welder II shall maintain one of the following options to retain their job title:
Option A
Remain S-558 Certified
Remain certified on three weld types, two shall be S-558 welds
Maintain Work Instruction sign-off for at least one part within each certification
Option B
Remain certified on four non S-558 weld types
Maintain Work Instruction sign-off for at least one part within each certification
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
External Candidates - 3+ years TIG or MIG experience or completion of accredited training program in weld is preferred.
Completed all requirements of Welder Trainee and Welder I

Pay Details: $23.52 to $29.27 per hour
