Park County Government Offices Lateral Patrol Deputy in Cody, Wyoming
The Park County Sheriff's Office has openings for lateral Patrol Deputies. A pre-employment physical and psychological tests are required. Benefits include shift differential, Paid Time Off (PTO), holiday pay, medical and life insurance, and contribution to the state of Wyoming Retirement System. Uniforms are also provided.
The lateral Patrol Deputy requires a 10-hour work schedule with rotating shifts that are mandatory and subject to change.
Applicants must meet the following requirements: must pass Certification requirements by the Wyoming Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission, be a United States Citizen at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, pass a background check and have a valid driver's license, must maintain a level of physical fitness to meet Department standards. Starting salary is $50,835 up to $63,544 a year, depending on experience.
A Lateral Patrol Deputy position has also become available in the town of Meeteetse. This requires the Deputy to work and live in the Meeteetse area. Interested candidates should reach out to Undersheriff Varian prior to applying.
