For our Region Central & Northern Europe at Barilla Deutschland GmbH in Cologne, we are looking for a for a IT Infrastructure Specialist (fmd) who will support the infrastructure manager to carry out the teams assignment.

Job Purpose

You manage the company IT infrastructure, execute proactive and reactive cybersecurity activities, manage asset inventory, as well as take over project and incident management. Your work is performed according to ISO27001 standards with the responsibility to define/follow processes. Regular travel to our plant in Celle will be required as well as the occasional travel to other Barilla locations.

Key Accountabilities

  • As infrastructure specialist you are participating in projects for which the infrastructure manager gives you responsibility as well as day-by-day activities. Projects can be local or initiated centrally. Being able to work autonomous is important as well as being a team player.

  • You work closely together with several different service providers. Including helpdesk, local consultants, global consultants, cybersecurity providers and more. You interact with central infrastructure Team for all common topics (network, licenses, policies etc.).

  • You are the entry point of the local infrastructure team for cybersecurity aspects. On security aspect and project, you work together with the infrastructure manager and in synergy with central security team as well as your local colleagues.

  • You participate to the monitoring and management of company infrastructure in terms of functionality and performance.

  • You work on the global perimeter of the local infrastructure (monitoring tool, backup systems, servers and server virtualization, MDT, NAS, network devices). You guarantee high availability of our solutions, continuously improving our infrastructure with special focus on cybersecurity, disaster recovery plan, monitoring tools and asset management tool. You leverage on both internal and external expert resources to receive support for these operations.

  • You are responsible for software and hardware inventory such as servers, network and end-user devices.

Your Profile

  • University degree in the field of computer science or relevant training with experience in the field of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in IT and/or computer science

  • Business fluent in German and proficient in English language

  • Good network knowledge, ideally experience in handling Cisco switches (Catalyst) and Cisco Next Generation Firewall

  • Good knowledge of VMware and Microsoft-based system

  • Experience in working with ISO 27001

  • Experience with working with vulnerability management and incident management

  • Teamwork and communication skills

  • Analytical, solution-oriented thinking as well as independent and structured way of working

  • Project management experience

  • Driver's license
