Hiring Carpenter Foreman for a medium sized general contractor

Job Description

  • Lead a dynamic crew of 5-7 carpenters on various commercial projects, managing tasks such as installing hollow metal doors and metal stud framing.

  • You will also oversee the layout of buildings from the ground up and read plans effectively while managing subcontractors on-site.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience of commercial carpentry experience

  • 2+ years of lead experience

  • Installation of metal doors and metal stud framing

  • Ability to read and layout building plans from ground up

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Must have valid drivers license

Job Type

  • This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

  • This is a fully on-site position in Pueblo, Colorado.

Work Environment

  • This role is primarily based at a commercial construction site, starting mainly at a medical center project in Pueblo, with potential work at a steel mill.

  • Work locations can vary including Pueblo, Springs, Trinidad, Walsenburg, with efforts to keep you local to Pueblo.

  • You are guaranteed 40 hours per week with a typical start time at 7 AM and a fair amount of overtime opportunities.
