POSITION OVERVIEW

DEFTEC Corporation seeks a Guardian Support Program Coordinator Analyst to support the Space Training and Readiness Command Human Capital Directorate (S1). The S1 reaches across the STARCOM Enterprise to provide Personnel support (Military and Civilian), manpower support, systems and program integration, and civilian pay oversight. STARCOM/S1 develops United States Space Force (USSF) and United States Air Force human capital policies to prepare STARCOM forces to prevail in a Contested, Degraded, and Operationally Limited (CDO) environment. Assists the S1 and the S1Q Division Chief on all matters concerning optimizing Guardian performance, increasing resiliency, and decreasing negative and violent outcomes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administers the Guardian Support Program.

  • Provides support and liaises with stakeholders on a range of programming to support new Guardians, military family readiness, and holistic health approach programs.

  • Conducts studies, analyzes findings, and makes recommendations on improvements and/or solutions to "Q" (Quality of Life) programs and issues.

  • Analyzes resourcing requirements and options for program funding, service policies, and dissemination of best practices.

  • Measurements and evaluations include analyzing workload, achieving objectives and goals, evaluating the quality of performance, and evaluating guardian, family, community, and public response and satisfaction.

  • Monitors data collection tools and prepares reports, staff packages, point papers, briefings, and program summaries as required to support the S1Q division and Culture, Resilience, and Prevention initiatives.

  • Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with financial management, logistics, safety, communications and computer services, civil engineering/facilities management, services (dorms, dining hall), airlift support, and numerous committees.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Required Qualifications:

  • Experience as an Officer of NCO in the USAF or USSF

  • Experience supporting Quality of Life programs in the USAF or USSF

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Top-Secret Security Clearance

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Command Family Readiness Representative
