Job Title: IT Operations/ Project Manager (PM)

Job Location: Colorado Springs, CO- ONSITE US Air Force Academy

Salary Range: $120k-$140k Annually

Job Description

The Project Manager shall:

  • Manage computer operations, supervise staff operations, ensure production schedules are met and computer system resources are used effectively. Ensure proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services. Detailed activities, essential tasks, and responsibilities shall include the following core functions.

  • Assess technical requirements, provide information or assistance, and resolve technical issues.

  • Coordinate the resolution of production-related problems.

  • Develop project plans to implement short- and long-range goals in order to meet project deadlines and resolve conflicts that may arise; develop documents based on approved requirements and resolve conflicts that may arise.

  • Provide technical oversight to develop, support, and implement action plans for major Air Force and Defense Health Agency (DHA) projects.

  • Work with customer stakeholders to design, develop and implement enterprise architectures. Develop Courses of Actions (COAs) to achieve project objectives and provides executive- level briefings.

  • Manage project outcomes and deliverables/metrics; work to verify they stay with scope;

  • Coordinate project deviations to determine corrective actions; and coordinate and document revisions.

  • Track team progress and maintain schedule to meet approved timeline; coordinate and work deviations; adjust the schedule in accordance with procedures; and hold meetings to provide status or gain approvals and resolve issues.

    Cybersecurity Program Services and Enforcement/ISSO (10 MDG)

    The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) is responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of the 10 MDG Network. This is satisfied by fulfilling the following duties:

    Review, prepare, and update cybersecurity accreditation packages IAW RMF, eMASS, and relevant DHA provided guidance

  • Partners with and reports to ISSM/DHA regarding program compliance and administration

  • Notify Government when changes occur that might affect accreditation/certification

  • Perform self-inspections, provide security coordination and review of all system test plans

  • Identify vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures/POAMs utilizing tools/applications such as but not limited to ACAS

  • Represent the Government on various technical review and inspection teams

  • Conduct security surveys at subordinate facilities and gather pertinent security documentation for inclusion into system accreditation packages

  • Investigate, report, and correct cybersecurity breaches

  • Coordinate, prepare, and track cybersecurity inspections/CCRI, reports, and responses

  • Prepare reports on the status of security safeguards applied to computer systems

  • Perform ISSO duties in support of in-house and external Government customers

  • Review, track, and conduct RMF/Cybersecurity training as needed

  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for Team Members

Required:

IAT III Certification such as:

CASP+ CE

CCNP Security

CISA

CISSP (or Associate)

GCED

GCIH

CCSP

Complete all required training:

DHA RMF training (eMASS, DHA RMF Process, Asset Module, POA&M), Logicole, CSTAR, ESS 201, ESS 301, ACAS, Tanium, and any other required training

Desired:

PMP certification
