Job Description ENSCO Inc is a diverse engineering and technology company that provides engineering, science and advanced technology solutions that guarantee mission success, safety, and security to governments and private industries worldwide.
We are seeking an experienced Space Systems Senior Systems Engineer to support Space Systems Command Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (SSC/BC) portfolio. The position is available in Colorado Springs, CO.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Support enterprise integration and modernization of tactical level Command, Control & Communications (C3) capabilities to transform satellite operations and improve resiliency.
- Perform space acquisitions, engineering, operations, and technical advice and assistance for all projects and programs, as required, to support any stage of the acquisition life cycle.
- Provide technical oversight of development efforts (i.e., design, development, manufacturing, assembly, integration, test, production and sustainment) whether they are traditional acquisition methods (e.g., waterfall, spiral, etc.) or agile/prototype.
- Support development of operational concepts, requirements, and architectural designs; evolve system architectures, conduct and analyze requirements flow down, propose verification methodologies and mitigation appro
- Conduct modeling, simulation and analysis as needed.
- Manage risk management processes and methods and recommend/implement risk reduction measures.
Qualifications Required (Skills) -MS/MA with more than 10 years of relevant experience - Experience in highly classified space control space, ground, and C2 systems (concepts, architecture, development including requirements, build and integration, and test, and operations) - Experience in multiple space control-related technologies, including but not limited to optical sensors, radar, electronic support, signals intelligence, and communications - Highly knowledgeable in ground system design, development, integration, test, and operations - Demonstrates ability to organize and conduct system level technical design reviews and audits - Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and writing) skills. - Must have experience in using critical thinking to prepare written reports and presentations for decision makers. - MUST HAVE AT A MINIMUM, A CURRENT TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A TS/SCI CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMEN
Qualifications Desired - Master's and/or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent - Experience working in development environment and/or U.S. Government weapons system program office. - Professional certification (e.g., Professional Engineer, INCOSE CSEP, ITEA CTEP, Agile PM/PO, etc.).
