Job Duties:

  • Engage with internal teams to understand and architect technical solutions, facilitate solutions design, and manage implementations.
  • Participate in the requirements gathering sessions to understand business needs and provide inputs to the technical requirements.
  • Develop and provide presentations and demonstrations of technology solutions to both internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Design and develop specific solutions leveraging technologies and design practices that enable a scalable, extensible, and flexible solution.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of software and infrastructure to ensure projects meet goals and should be able to clearly articulate and present the implications of design/architectural decisions, issues, and plans to leadership.
  • Review the solution, in the implementation and post deployment phases, to validate that the final solution matches the original approved design and architecture.
  • Work with engineering team to integrate approved solutions into the existing infrastructure and proactively identify associated potential risks and pitfalls involved, translate technical needs, and remove technical barriers.
  • Responsible for recommending and developing technical architectures, tools and processes that support the automation of environment management, build, testing, deployment, and support processes.
  • Assist with builds and design of high-level architecture presentation and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other teams in the organization to define supporting infrastructure and software tools needed to enable COTS based best practices in a large-scale environment.
  • Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that will enable team velocity.
  • Learn and analyze new technologies and industry best practices to identify suitability for adoption by the organization.
  • Review, guide, and support RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, response development including writing of whitepapers and concept development.
  • Provide technical solution support during proposal process, to include technology stack, solution architecture, and implementation methodology.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required in the field of computer science or equivalent. Masters degree a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions with working knowledge across numerous technology platforms.
  • Experience working on a large-scale IT project with FDA and familiar with FDA ODT initiat ves. Familiarity with EPLC process.
  • Experience across many of the following areas (listed in priority): Digital Transformation and Application Modernization, Cloud Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, COTS, Low Code Platforms, Data Model, Agile development, Robotic Process Animation (RPA), Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Strong working knowledge of Enterprise Software Design Patterns and Cloud Software Architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
  • Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues.
  • Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted advisor relationships with clients
  • Knowledge of emerging trends and may contribute to and influence best practices within the discipline.
  • Great oral and written communications
