Robert Half is seeking a self-motivated, experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper for a position located in Columbia, SC. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a chance to work with a respected client in the local market while showcasing your skills and expanding your network.

Job Description:

The Full-Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The duties also involve overseeing all financial and accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable/receivable, payroll and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.

• Verify, allocate, and post details of business transactions to accounts.

• Reconcile and balance all accounts in a timely manner.

• Prepare and process payroll, control income and expenditure, and prepare monthly financial statements.

• Draw up financial reports on a regular basis.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate with our clients to ensure accurate record-keeping.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• A Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven bookkeeping experience, and well-versed in accounting principles.

• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
