Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Columbus, Indiana

Position: Maintenance Technician

Shift:

• 3rd: 7p – 7a

Pay: $37 - $38

Job Description: 60/40 Mechanical/Electrical

Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and mechanical/electrical repairs. Equipment that you’ll be working on includes furnaces, dryers, shredders, and mixers. You’ll also be responsible for performing any repairs needed to the facility and manufacturing equipment including forklifts and conveyors.

Mechanical Troubleshooting: Hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, motors, preventative maintenance on furnaces and Conyers.

Electrical Troubleshooting: PLCs, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and 3 Phase Motors (480 V)

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 year’s experience in industrial mechanical/electrical maintenance

• Experience in industrial electricity, relay logic, troubleshooting, basic PLC, and variable frequency drive.

• Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing furnaces or heat treatment equipment is preferred.
