MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - DIRECT HIRE (COLUMBUS, IN)

Description:

This position is for an automotive manufacturing plant that is non-temperature controlled but extremely nice and professional at the same time. In the summer the plant will get hot at times. It is a fast paced work environment with much of the work being highly monitored for pace.

Shift Available:

3rd: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 2-2-3 schedule

Starting Pay Range:

$25/hr. - $30/hr.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for performing both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on equipment.

• Mechanical troubleshooting includes hydraulics, ball screw replacement, gear boxes, rebuilding gear boxes.

• Electrical troubleshooting experience would include being able to read a multimeter, troubleshoot contacts, relays, proximity switches, photo eyes.

• Troubleshoot 3-Phase motors up to 480V

• Responsible for the wiring and rebuild of any motor utilized in the plant.

• Train on troubleshooting robotics with company provided tools\

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves

• 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience or heavy equipment experience.

• 1+ year of electrical troubleshooting experience on 3 Phase Motors 480V, Proximity Switches, contacts, relays, and other motors.

• 1+ year of hydraulic troubleshooting

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of PLC's/ladder logic or ability to read inputs/outputs
