Position Overview:
- Job Title: Machine Operator
- Location: Columbus, Nebraska
- Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:30 AM
- Pay:$18/hour
- Job Type: Temporary-to-Permanent
What Were Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and precision in handling machinery.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and enter data accurately.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus, but not requiredwe provide training!
What Youll Be Doing:
- Operate and manage machines to wind and test specified turns of wire onto resistor sub-assemblies to achieve desired resistance values.
- Receive capped ceramic sub-assemblies, wire, and production orders from the Material Handler.
- Power up machines and computers to prepare for operation.
- Place the correct wire on the spindle and thread it through the machine.
- Enter accurate winding parameters and order information into the computer, including wire width, value, tolerance, thickness, and ohms per foot.
- Load trays or reels of capped ceramic sub-assemblies into the machines.
