We are currently hiring for a Laboratory Sanitation/Sterilization Technician in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment. This is a long-term, career oriented position with benefits and PTO, and we are looking for someone with at least 6 months - 1+ years of experience working in a sterilization, sanitation, or similar cleaning environment that requires the use of PPE and/or following heavy regulations.

Experience MUST include the use of PPE and/or following strict regulations. This role will primarily focus on keeping the cleanroom laboratory sterilized and will have to fully gown up when going in and out of rooms.

Description:

• The Laboratory Sanitation Technician plays a critical role in assuring sanitary conditions of the controlled areas of manufacturing pharmaceuticals and related medical products.

• Performs sanitary cleaning duties of equipment and working stations, ensuring that everything meets necessary regulations.

• Keep the cleanroom sterilized so nothing gets cross contaminated in the pharmaceuticals.

• Maintains accurate and complete inventory of cleaning supplies ensuring supplies are never depleted.

• Trains and oversees other Aseptic Cleaners.

• Performs other oversight duties.

Qualifications:

• MUST have at least a high school diploma or GED.

• MUST have at least 6 months - 1 year of experience performing sanitation or cleaning in a regulated environment or other experience in a cleanroom/sterilized room (examples could include working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or something that might be similarly regulated).

• Regular janitorial experience without regulated experience and strict PPE requirements would not meet the qualifications.
