We are looking for a Civil Project Engineer who will play both key technical and managerial roles in the design, planning, and implementation of site civil design/development projects for our clients. You’ll leverage your expertise in site design and creative problem-solving skills while collaborating closely with institutions/municipal agencies. From initial concept development to final plan submittal, this role will be involved with projects through every stage of the design process, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

-This position will be involved with significant projects, interacting with clients, municipalities, and effectively working with a team

-Responsibilities include design and preparation of site, grading, drainage, erosion control and utility plans as well as design reports

-Assists Project Manager with various tasks from bid to project completion

-Prepares and revises documentation in various civil phases including site plans, floor plans, diagrams, and details

-Leads project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors

-Participates in client project requirement meetings

-Assists senior engineers/designers with developing and managing the project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule

-May lead the preparation and coordination of the project specifications with construction documents

-Performs and oversees the performance of calculations using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software

-Other responsibilities as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

-B.S. in Civil Engineering

-EIT License or ability to obtain in short period of time

-3+ years site/ civil experience strongly preferred

-Civil 3D proficiency

-Strong communication skills
