Huntington National Bank Enterprise Controls Platform Administrator in Columbus, Ohio

Description

Huntington Bank is seeking a Data Quality Platform Administrator to support the Enterprise Technology Platform Administration team. In this role, you will be part of a team that plays a critical role in managing and maintaining our Data Quality and Governance technology and best practices. You will be helping ensure optimal performance and partnering with our internal teams to grow our solutions and practices across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and challenges in creating and maintaining data quality controls.

  • Guide data providers in the development and implementation of data controls and validation rules that ensure data integrity and accuracy.

  • Conduct root cause analysis on data flow and control issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Support data governance initiatives by contributing to the development of metadata repositories and reporting.

  • Provide training and guidance to staff on data quality control tools, standards, and procedures.

  • Operational support to data quality and governance tools and technology

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • 2+ years of experience supporting data flow, data controls, or data stewardship

  • 2+ years of experience in SQL, Oracle, DB2 and/or other query languages

  • 1+ years of experience in defining and implementing data controls and validation rules

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of data quality principles, methodologies, and tools

  • Proven experience in data quality management

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and effectively prioritize them

  • Experience working in a consumer-centric company, partnering with teams of technical professionals in a cross-functional environment

  • Understanding of standard data integration architecture and technologies

  • Experience with data governance, or a related field.

  • Experience with ETL tools, data warehouse and/or data lake architecture

  • Experience with ServiceNow

  • Experience in Financial Services or another federally regulated industry
