McKesson is seeking a Finance Manager to lead reporting, consolidations, and strategic initiatives for McKesson's Generics business. The Finance Manager will support month-end close, forecast, annual budgeting, long-range planning, and product level reporting for the Generics FP&A team. This person will also be the primary Finance representative for Generics strategic initiatives. The Finance Manager will partner with senior leadership throughout the organization and is a trusted business partner who can leverage resources across the organization to produce actionable insight for strategic decision making. Key Responsibilities: Support monthly close and forecasting including overall consolidations, production of management reports and variance analysis to provide insight on results Provide an eight-quarter rolling forecast based on inputs from the team. Craft a consolidated and cohesive story for business partners and leadership Prepare a consolidated Generics customer segment P&L monthly that highlights past and future performance against expectations. Identify ways to improve current reporting capabilities by leveraging new tools such as Tableau, Snowflake, BPC, Power of BI or EFPR Partner with business leaders on annual strategic initiatives. Track financial results, streamline reporting and provide insight on any risks and opportunities Lead, develop and influence business partners who this person may not directly manage Provide advanced analytics on industry events such as industry consolidation, generic price inflation/deflation, and regulatory policies/environment Ensure financial integrity of generics FP&A analytics environment Perform ad hoc analysis to support the business and other duties as required Minimum Requirements Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience. Critical Skills: 5 - 7 years of financial reporting, FP&A, accounting, or advanced analytics experience Must have advanced excel skills and experience working with large data sets Dashboarding experience with Power of BI or Tableau experience preferred Must have strong systems and reporting experience Must have strong analytical and quantitative skills Demonstrated leadership skills Effective business partnership with the ability to influence decision makers Ability to lead and balance multiple projects in various stages of completion Knowledge of accounting principles and ability to read a P&L Thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel and PowerPoint Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Additional Knowledge & Skills: SAP and AO COPA Snowflake or SQL experience a plus, but not required Education: 4 year degree in finance or related field or equivalent experience MBA preferred At McKesson, we care about the well-being of the patients and communities we serve, and that starts with caring for our people.
