You will play a crucial role in management and implementing change initiatives brought on through the integration of acquired companies. You will be responsible for developing and executing effective change management and communication strategies and plans, ensuring that all layers of the organization are informed and engaged throughout the change journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic & Tactical Ownership: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive communications strategies for complex multi-country M&A transactions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Navigate the intricate landscape of acquisitions, and integrations, addressing multifaceted challenges and stakeholder expectations.

  • Change Management Leadership: Design and implement robust change management plans to support organizational transformations resulting from M&A activities. Navigate cultural shifts, resistance, and uncertainty, driving alignment and engagement across multi-country diverse teams and functions.

  • Communication Strategy & Execution: Create and execute communication plans to ensure effective dissemination of information to executives and employees at all levels.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage high-stakes communications with key internal stakeholders, spanning executives to front-line employees. Balance competing interests and priorities while maintaining transparency, trust, and credibility.

  • Risk Mitigation: Anticipate and mitigate potential integration risks and issues related to M&A activities. Navigate sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, HR, finance, IT, Operations, and more, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of communication and change management initiatives. Navigate complex organizational structures and dynamics to drive cohesive strategies and outcomes.

  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement an escalation process/stakeholder management, and communication plans to address unforeseen challenges and issues that may arise during M&A transactions. Navigate high-pressure situations with agility and poise, ensuring timely and effective responses to protect the organization’s interests and reputation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in communications, change management, executive stakeholder management, and experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including executives, legal, HR, and finance departments.

  • Experience in developing and implementing change management strategies to support organizational transitions.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and develop proactive solutions.

  • Deep understanding of the M&A process, including due diligence, integration planning, and post-merger integration.

  • Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture while paying attention to detail, while maintaining roll-up-the sleeves (tactical) attitude.

I ron Mountain’s Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) business is responsible for the deployment, management, and ultimate decommissioning and disposition of technology assets. These include hard drives, servers, laptops, tablets, and network devices that contain customer or organizational data that needs utmost safeguarding when they reach their end of useful life.

In the process, ALM takes IT assets to sanitize, clean, and remove the data and recycle or repurpose in a sustainable and environmentally sound way.

Reasonably expected salary range: $134,500.00 - $179,300.00
