Job Title: Technical Product Expert IT System Administrator Lead

Location: Remote (candidates MUST reside in the company service territory – VA, WV, MI, OH, IN, KY, TN, AR, OK, TX)

Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday

Contract Details: 12mo contract to hire

Pay Rate : $80-$85hr

As a Technical Product Expert, you will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, evaluation, analysis, and recommendation of technical computing products on large and complex projects, earning recognition as an expert across the company. Your role includes delivering top-tier technical product support, encompassing user inquiries, system installation, monitoring, testing, problem diagnosis, resolution, and routine maintenance. Additionally, you will lead the delivery of technical services, offering alternative solutions and technical guidance. Formulating technical procedures, documentation, manuals, and reports will be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will mentor and provide functional/technical leadership to staff.

Essential Job Functions & Tasks:

  • Demonstrate mastery in system administration and automation, serving as the highest-level resource in specific technical areas across the company. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and UiPath (or similar automation technology) is essential.

  • Contribute insights into related technology strategies to management.

  • Offer expert guidance in resolving problem resolution calls, collaborating closely with software and hardware vendors.

  • Proactively access key measurement data and propose strategies for enhanced performance to the team.

  • Review and update procedures and documentation to ensure the technology remains current.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or an engineering-related field OR

  • Associate's degree with 2 years of system administration-related experience OR

  • High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of system administration-related experience.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of system administration-related experience (in addition to any experience identified in the education requirements above).

  • Additional Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with Python, SQL, and UiPath (or similar automation technology) is mandatory.

  • Technical certification in administration technology field preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Details:

Potential for conversion to permanent role

Potential for occasional overtime after hours or on weekends.
