Lead Field Service Technician
As a Lead Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will be the technical expert and leader in field service operations for our Building Automation business, with a focus on HVAC, DDC & BAS systems. You will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, providing technical expertise and support to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction. Your HVAC experience will be crucial as you troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, both remotely and on-site. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you’ll work out of our Mason, OH location.
Primary Focus: The main function of this position is to respond and resolve service calls providing technical support and troubleshooting to Honeywell customers. Additional responsibilities related to the technical delivery of Small Service Jobs and Preventive Maintenance may be assigned as well. These customers may have various products installed that fall into the – HVAC, Automation Controls and 3rd Party Systems category as well as their associated computer systems. The goal is to ensure system uptime and efficiency. This role will cover the region of Mason, OH.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical expertise and support for field service operations in the Building Automation business, with a focus on HVAC systems
Lead and execute complex field service projects, ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HVAC, DDC & BAS systems, both remotely and on-site
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs
Conduct training sessions for field service technicians and customers on HVAC systems
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology, and provide recommendations for improvement
Ensure compliance with company policies & procedures
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVE
High school diploma or GED
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in building automation, DDC and HVAC systems
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to HVAC systems
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts related to HVAC systems to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships
