This role is responsible for managing the team responsible for influencing and implementing Bath and Body Works store’s future technology roadmap, infrastructure (hardware and software), stabilization efforts during non-peak/peak, and the customer checkout experience. The work includes but is not limited to testing, taking concepts and large scale workstreams from ideation through solution delivery, creating operational efficiencies, partnering across the enterprise to enable a seamless customer experience and maximizing sales growth potential. The role serves as a key liaison between Store Operations, the Field, Digital, IT and other Home Office functions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams across the enterprise to identify and create solutions to impact operational processes and our seamless omni channel experience

  • Evaluate emerging trends in retail technology and trendsetting practices to develop new opportunities, including analysis and communication of risks, cost, and benefits

  • Serve as subject matter expert with a broad and detailed knowledge of store operating procedures, and current capabilities and constraints with our existing field technology portfolio (leading release testing and deployment, improving use cases of field hardware and applications, influencing replacement/allocation strategies, determining transaction capacity for peak timeframes, etc.)

  • Represent Store Operations in cross functional workstreams to test, monitor, and assess the performance and stability of systems, working with appropriate teams to troubleshoot issues, influence SLAs, communicate risks with the field organization and implement improvements to mitigate future occurrences

  • Continually assess priorities and field/HO capacity to influence the roadmap and prioritization of initiatives

    Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years experience managing complex projects or technology implementations in a retail or corporate environment.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading and developing a team of cross-functional professionals.

  • Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal/influence skills in dealing with all levels.

  • Excellent analytic, problem solving and coaching skills, with the ability to take a thoughtful, data-driven approach to addressing challenges. Can see the big picture and spot patterns across seemingly disparate ideas/actions
