We are looking for experienced Mechanical Assemblers for one of our favorite clients in Gahanna Ohio. 1st shift available with great Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm hours. Pay starting at $19 and negotiable with previous experience.

Job Outlook:

• Supports our Assembly Department on Main Campus facility.

• OTJ + cross training provided.

• Will train in the Assembly of Metal products (primarily Custom Cabinets, Enclosures and frameworks) for Power, Medical, Telecom, Commercial food and Technology industries.

• Will train and work in tandem with experienced and seasoned associates already on staff.

REQUIRED:

^ Previous knowledge, experience or interest in metal work/fabrication; assembly of products etc.

^ Ability to learn assembly of a variety of metal products.

^ Cross training on finishing equipment such as a Fladder, Hand grinders, deburring equipment, etc.

^ 2-3 yrs. knowledge + experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment. (Not an assembly line)

^ Ability to read and accurately interpret prints +/or schematics.

^ Mechanically inclined: able to use a variety of power/air and hand tools including rivet guns.

^ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. with regularity. (average parts run 2-15 lbs).

^ Physical ability to stand, squat, bend, reach, pull and push during course of an 8 hour shift.

^ High attention to detail & fine tactical ability.

^ Pallet jack experience

^ Ability to take direction and initiative and work independently as well as a part of a team.

^ Reliable/dependable attendance record.

^ Contribute to team dynamics, offering solutions to move projects forward.

^ Minimal computer experience (Word/Excel, business software system).

^ Organizational skills.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
