Job Profile Summary

  • The Product Group Manager develops and implements the strategic direction for Huntington’s’ Ledgering and related deposit capabilities. The role drives strategy and implementation for the complex liquidity & account solutions products, including cash concentration, notional pooling structures and Virtual Account Management

  • This position partners with Deposit business, product and IT Delivery teams drive our roadmap and delivery of ledgering solution

  • The role is focused on

  • Design and build (working with IT teams) capabilities to offer different Bank account structures (Virtual / Physical / Hybrid)

  • Work with Inhouse tech and outside vendor – to drive integrations and development to Banking Core and ACH/wire/RTP systems

  • Work with Business teams to build go-to-market strategy including Pricing as well as packaging within deposit products

  • Work with Legal and risk team to ensure right policy framework for these capabilities

Job Description

  • The Product Group Manager develops and implements the strategic direction for Huntington’s’ ledgering solution

  • Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drives Voice-of-customer across relevant verticals to define roadmap especially client-facing UI/UX and services

  • Working with IT/Architecture teams - Own and define the integration architecture of ledgering platform into Core-banking platform - including payment flows, Reconciliation with Banking data and client facing UI/UX

  • Collaborate with security & Tech teams for entitlements and other authentication and user-mgmt protocols

  • Support the design, testing, and implementation

  • Design and implement customer onboarding and service model

  • Manages product group P&L including support business case for new investments

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • New product development of cash concentration solutions (e.g. pooling structures, ZBAs, multi-bank sweeps etc)

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Banking especially payments (AR and AP side) in business or technical capacity

  • 5+ years of Payments experience within Banks

  • 2+ years building/managing ledgering product and integrations in a Fintech or a Bank

  • Must have Knowledge of Liquidity and cash management

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Understand of ledgering landscape and identify opportunities to improve product offerings and customer experience.

  • Strong understanding of verticals like Real-estate/property management, title companies and Escrow based workflows

  • Solid understanding of Banking core

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree

  • Knowledge of Notional pooling, Cash Concentration accounts and escrow capabilities

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze situations and risks, determine paths of action, and execute flawlessly; Must be savvy and passionate about driving results and innovation

  • Experience in project planning & management, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

  • Exceptional analytical abilities, critical thinking, and creative problem solving

  • Proven written and oral communication skills including senior leadership presentation

  • Experience using Agile methods for custom hardware or embedded software development

  • Certification as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Scaled Agile Frameworks

  • Corporate treasury or Cash management

  • Bank regulatory framework (e.g. RLAP, SLR, GSIB...)

Compensation Range:

$130,000 - $150,000 Annual Draw (reconciled against earned incentive compensation

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
