JPMorgan Chase Solutions Analyst III - SAP Financials in Columbus, Ohio

As a Solutions Analyst III in Corporate Sector General Ledger team, you will aid in bridging the gap between product owners, business, operations, and software developers by leveraging your technical fluency and strong analytical reasoning skills. Your responsibilities will include eliciting and documenting business and data flow requirements, translating them into well-structured and technically feasible solutions. Your adaptability and ability to lead through change will enable you to navigate complex situations and manage dependencies effectively. With a strong foundation in data analytics and technical solutions, you will contribute to the development of innovative architecture designs and data-driven insights that guide business decisions. Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, will ensure clear and concise information exchange with diverse stakeholder audiences, fostering collaboration and alignment across departments.

Job responsibilities

  • Elicit and document comprehensive business and data flow requirements by engaging with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment and feasibility

  • Translate complex business requirements into well-structured technical solutions, leveraging data analytics and technical knowledge to optimize system performance and scalability

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, providing actionable insights that support decision-making and key business initiatives

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain architecture designs, policies, standards, and governance processes that align technology with business strategy

  • Continuously enhance technical knowledge and stay current with industry trends, ensuring the application of best practices and innovative solutions to address evolving business needs

  • Responsible for designing, building and deploying (SAP-based ERP) solutions

  • Lead analysis and design in the (SAP FI/CO) area, conducting testing with users and ensureing stabilization of the solution and continuous improvements

  • Work with application, data, business processes and infrastructure architecture disciplines

  • Participate in Requirement Analysis and Review

  • Communicate efficiently with the Global team (verbal and written)

  • Ability to work with developers, business analysts, project managers and business users on requirements basis

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in solutions analysis, technical program delivery, or a related field

  • Strong experience, with full-cycle (SAP FI) including integration of (SAP FI / CO) and Special ledger applications

  • Hands on experience in (SAP S4 HANA) in Finance modules is must

  • Life Cycle Implementations and Roll- Outs experience with (SAP FI Master data management GL, Customer, Vendor, Fixed Assets etc.)

  • Expert knowledge in (SAP FI) activities pertaining to General Ledger Accounting & Reporting

  • Good understanding in SAP Accounts Payable & Account Receivable activities including external integrations for Bank Payments & Customer/Vendor Management

  • Exposure to Special Purpose Ledger (SPL) and New GL Accounting is a must, and good Knowledge on SAP FI backend tables & initial debugging skills

  • Deep understanding of customizations for FI module

  • Well versed with SAP FI Reporting including customized reports as per business requirements as well as SAP FI Functional Testing (Regression & Non-Regression Testing) for Rollout/Upgrades

  • Exhibit capabilities in writing good Functional Specifications (FSD) for FI related Developments and own the delivery to Business along with the Technical (ABAP) Team

  • Communicate the understanding of customer concerns and requirements with the internal team to work and resolve gaps and/or issues

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in Preparation of (Trial Balance, P&L Account and Balance Sheet)

  • Experience with Archiving Methodologies and integration with (ILM)

  • Banking I.T. Industry-wide technology strategies and best practices
