We offer comprehensive benefits packages, competitive salaries, and a valued place with the world's leading supplier of military-grade batteries.Job PurposeThe Production Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating with appropriate department to fulfill all contracts and sales order requirements, including delivery schedules, product quality, special testing and/or shipping requirements.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitor work order progress to fulfill product quality and delivery schedule requirements.Prepare documents, coordinate with QC and Shipping for daily inspection and shipments.Collaborate with Warehouse, Purchasing, Engineering and Sales to coordinate changes.of delivery schedules or product requirements.Communicate material shortages and/or abnormal failures, monitor until resolution is complete.Prioritize and expedite production tasks according to delivery schedule, forecast updates.Monitor and communicate production readiness status for proper documents and tools, such.as test procedures and work instructions, these must be available at the time a work order is released.Release and close work orders daily according to production planning and scheduling.Work with production technicians to triage rejected materials from production either byrework/repair or scrap.Coordinate with quality control department to accomplish necessary sample selection and testing tasks withinspecified time frame as required by contracts.Manage and maintain accuracy of finished goods inventory.Maintain production files, records and tools.Prepare reports as needed.Additional duties as assigned.Compensation Range: $28 to $32 per hour, non-exempt.Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set.Qualifications2+ years of college or 10+ years after high school with experience in manufacturing industry.7+ years in production planning or controlling.Time Management, Prioritization, Risk Management.Good verbal and written Communication Proficiency.General Job RequirementsAbility to operate office equipment, sit, stand, bend, reach and on occasion lift a maximum of 30 lbs.Ability to work well with others in a teamwork environment.Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.Ability to work in both production floor and office environment.Bren-Tronics provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
