As the Technology Leader, you will have the exceptional opportunity to lead the technology strategy and execution for our operations in Spain.

Position Overview:

As the Technology Leader, you will work closely with the Technology Leader Senior Manager, the Head of Technology, and the EMEA Business Technology Leadership Team to establish the vision and goals for our operations in Spain. Your responsibilities will include effectively handling and prioritizing technology-related requests in collaboration with our business partners. You will have a crucial role in converting business strategies and customer requirements into creative technology solutions, and promoting the use of our advanced regional platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business partners to align and prioritize business and IT strategies.

  • Support the Technology Leader Senior Manager in defining annual objectives and outcomes for selected areas/functions.

  • Empower regional Product Group Leaders to innovate and create solutions that meet business and customer needs.

  • Manage the local BT team (internal and external) to drive continuous improvement through technology, data, and automation.

  • Collaborate with digital health teams to deploy digital health capabilities.

  • Identify and assess the value generated and provided to customers, users, and other relevant individuals or groups.

  • Monitor performance metrics to focus on business value realization.

  • Support the development of proposals and aid in securing necessary funding.

  • Support the Head of Technology on selected initiatives and planning cycles.

  • Nurture a culture that values data-driven decision-making and enhances the digital expertise of business partners and product teams.

  • Build strong partnerships with technology providers, government, and advisory boards.

  • Identify and implement emerging products based on customers' evolving needs.

  • Manage delivery of niche/local applications not aligned to existing products.

  • Drive strategic global business strategy and process harmonization opportunities.

  • Drive and contribute to our talent and culture agenda.

  • Support Product Group Leaders in fulfilling external requirements.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration), or equivalent experience.

  • Proficient knowledge of technology strategy and execution, and the impact of technology capabilities on our competitiveness.

  • Experience in driving innovation and influencing strategic decision-making.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Strong partnership-building and effective collaboration with both internal and external individuals.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Consistent track record of delivering impactful technology solutions.

  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.

  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
