Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in the construction/contractor industry based in Concord, California. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for processing payroll and supporting accounts payable functions, while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the payroll process for union and non-union employees, including both salaried and hourly staff.

• Examine, validate, and audit timecards before payroll submission.

• Address payroll-related inquiries from employees, including timecard corrections and policy explanations.

• Carry out certified payroll operations, compliance, and DIR Resolve payroll discrepancies.

• Provide assistance to the Accounts Payable team by reviewing, verifying, and matching invoices with corresponding purchase orders.

• Use your skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Payroll to ensure smooth operations. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or contractor industry

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Demonstrated ability in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Solid understanding of Billing procedures

• Proficient in Data Entry

• Previous experience in Invoice Processing

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Oracle software

• Experience in using QuickBooks

• Knowledge of SAP software

• Experience in Payroll processing
