We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper position located in Concord, California. This role is primarily responsible for handling payables, receivables, bank reconciliations and billings for a services company. The candidate will also assist with administrative office tasks when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Handle payables and receivables, ensuring accurate postings.

• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.

• Manage billings.

• Assist with administrative office tasks when required.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites effectively for various accounting functions.

• Apply skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to maintain financial records.

• Perform regular checks on books for accuracy.

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services for effective financial management.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Prior experience with ADP - Financial Services is desirable

• Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites is necessary

• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook is required

• Must have a solid understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is required

• Must be able to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Prior experience in Billing Functions is a plus
