Kelly Services Administrative Assistant in Convent, Louisiana

Administrative Assistant

Pay Range - $18 - $22 / hour depending on experience

Work Schedule

Monday thru Friday 7:00AM to 4:00PM; non-exempt (hourly position); no remote work

Summary

Administrative Assistant to assist and support the Operations Department by performing a variety of administrative duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processing and confirming customer data sets.

  • Generating data spread sheets and analytics.

  • Preparing presentations.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings; and maintain calendars

  • Prepare communication such as memos, emails, reports and other correspondence.

  • Write and edit communication, from letters to reports, meeting minutes.

  • Some travel, no overnight.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Interacts productively with all levels of professional staff.

  • Motivated team player

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and self-starter.

  • Maintains good work attendance.

  • Strong word processing and spreadsheet creation skills are mandatory.

  • Experience with Maritime Industry, transportation and logistics is a plus.

  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize time to complete projects.

  • Must be flexible and able to handle change in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to take criticism and handle stressful situations professionally and tactfully.

  • Willingness to cross-train and take on additional responsibilities and challenges.

  • Candidate must be able to obtain a TWIC.

Education/Experience

  • Minimum of high school diploma/GED.

  • A minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience

  • Must be exceptional with all forms of Microsoft Suite Programs, Power BI, Microsoft Planner.
