Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in CONYERS, Georgia. This role involves working in a hybrid workplace in the telecom industry, focusing on functions such as processing invoices, maintaining bank accounts, and keeping accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise incoming invoices that require payment and ensure their veracity

• Coordinate with internal and external sources to verify incoming invoices

• Prioritize invoices and payments according to the terms of the invoice

• Maintain all bank accounts needed to reconcile these payments efficiently

• Keep accurate records that may be reported to the rest of the accounting department

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Use accounting software systems such as ORACLE for efficient processing

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and managing accounts payable

• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in the accounts payable process

• Utilize skills in accounting functions and check processing to ensure efficiency in tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures

• Knowledge of Check Processing

• Ability to perform accurate Data Entry

• Capable of identifying and resolving Discrepancy issues in accounts

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Good organizational and time management abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
