DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Administrative Assistant 1 (AA1), you will perform a wide range of technical and administrative functions in order to assist in the operations and management of Cook Forest and Clear Creek State Parks. You will work in support of the Park Operations Manager and Park Manager and other regional staff. The AA1 performs administrative and clerical functions to include complement management, personnel administration, purchasing, contracting/procurement of services, budget and fiscal management, customer service, training, and field park administrative evaluations/inspections.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 5 days per week (37.5 hours), with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
  • Shift and schedule can vary to meet the operational needs of a 7 day/week operational facility.

      REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
