CNC Lead Position Summary The Cell Lead I is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and leading the activities of a cellular work team in a manufacturing environment. They ensure the team meets assigned goals and objectives while working with various production machinery and equipment. The role involves executing production schedules, scheduling employees, ensuring materials availability, maintaining quality standards, and facilitating on-the-job training. 2nd shift: Monday - Thursday 3:00pm to 3:00am Responsibilities CNC Lead Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate employees, equipment, and materials/supplies to have continuous and efficient production
  • Ensure orders are completed on time and meet the quality standards
  • Train and develop personnel
  • Ensure employee compliance with schedules, policy, and procedures

Qualifications CNC Lead Position Requirements

  • Knowledge of industry, machinery, equipment, and processes- specifically CNC EDM machines
  • Previous experience managing internal relationships and team facilitation
  • Scheduling experience in manufacturing
  • Business systems software (excel, word, job costing systems)
  • Five years related experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent

CNC Lead Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instruments
  • Previous experience with tight tolerances
  • Programming experience with EDM CNC Machines
  • Experience with set-up on EDM CNC Machines
  • Experience in troubleshooting of EDM CNC Machines
  • Business/technical degree or equivalent experience
