Metrology System Coordinator

Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?

As System Coordinator within our Metrology Department, you will play an important role in overseeing and managing a specialized range of applications developed for our department.

Your focus will be on keeping the applications running and making sure interfaces with other applications is up to date. You will also be testing new versions of software.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Calibration team, System Coordinator for API pro and our IT departments.

  • Ensure data integrity and uptime on our applications, such as WonderCal, Link, LodCert e.c.t

  • Proactive work with our upgrade process, applications software should be in a supported version.

  • Key player in our future project plan for digitalization, department projects as Automated Pipette Calibration, Expansion of Climatic Test Chamber and Weight Calibration software.

  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement effective solutions.

  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging your technical expertise.

In the team there are 7 calibration technicians, 1 Calibration coordinator and 1 Calibration specialist. The team supporting operations and projects, are all with different professional backgrounds within measuring technique. In the team, we emphasize that there is always a helpful and relaxed tone. You will report to the Head of BMS & Metrology.

The position is based in Valby, Copenhagen

What you bring to the team

The colleague we are looking for, is a team player with well-developed collaboration skills. You contribute to the good spirit and high professionalism in the department. Furthermore, we hope that you have the following:

  • Software Engineer, Application Engineer (or similar technical background)with solid IT competencies

  • Proven experience with programming and application management, either within pharma or with understanding for the metrology process.

  • Structured and data-driven in your approach to your tasks.

  • A key communicator with the ability to interact with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience within MS SQL database programming, Oracle database, Certificate VBA visual basic programming for application, OpenText Gupta SQLBase.

  • Advantageousbut not a must, knowhow within systems as: API Pro 9, LabVIEW, Unionlog, Val-suite, test center (software validation), Power-BI and excel-advanced.
