Description

Robert Half is hiring a Sr. Internal Auditor to assist on a bank audit. This role is 100% remote and based out of Miami, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Execute control and substantive tests for wires, payables, and fixed assets.

• Conduct Internal Audit risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop audit plans.

• Demonstrate knowledge of Accounting Software Systems and use them effectively for audit processes.

• Guide associates through the audit process and provide coaching as necessary.

• Use CRM effectively for maintaining customer records and processing customer applications.

• Apply knowledge of Accounting Functions to ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.

• Present Audit Findings to the Audit Committee and propose solutions for identified issues.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on the account status.

• Work independently and demonstrate the ability to drive the status and completion of controls.

• Utilize Business systems and CobiT for efficient auditing.

Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience in designing and implementing Audit Programs

• Proficient in Business systems including CRM

• Familiarity with CobiT framework for IT management and governance

• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions with precision and accuracy

• Experience in preparing reports for Audit Committee

• Proven track record in effectively communicating Audit Findings

• Skilled in conducting Auditing as per industry standards

• Experience in creating strategic Audit Plans

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly

• Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and priorities

• Strong time management skills to meet strict deadlines

• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required

• Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are preferred.
