Job Description

As a Supply Planning Manager, and as part of the Global planning team, you will support the supply network planning and inventory optimization processes from supply sources to Primary hubs. You will be responsible for leading a team of individual contributors, and developing tactical and operational plans to achieve our supply goals. Your work will directly contribute to our business goals, ensuring optimized inventory levels, net requirements handover to supply sources, supply S&OP and event management process (STEM) management. It will as well support the continuous advancement of our SNP capabilities through analytical capabilities in order to provide increasingly sophisticated data-based decision support for global supply chain.

In addition, this role will be instrumental in supporting the strategic and cross-functional projects from a planning point of view (Spartan, Reset, MDR, System improvements).

Key responsibilities

  • Develop plans to achieve supply goals, and communicate plans and associated risks through STEM & Supply S&OP processes.

  • Secure optimized inventory levels to achieve cash flow objectives.

  • Collaborate with other supply chain functions (E2E planning, Value Stream Leads, Planning excellence, Master data, etc.) to build working relationships across all teams that directly or indirectly impact business performance and project deployment

  • Resolve issues/barriers for cross-functional projects with corresponding project business partners

  • Own global metrics (backorders, OTIF, Sets deployment, Inventory targets, Volume/Mix MPS Attainment, Excess & Obsolete, Order Management, Team Efficiency metrics)

  • Build the continuous advancement of our Supply Network Planning capabilities.

  • Represent the planning function, build scenario planning to contribute to the success of the strategic projects (Spartan, Reset, MDR, System improvements).

  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures to achieve our organization's goals and objectives for the Supply Chain function.

  • Integrate Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals, decision making and culture

Qualifications

  • 7 years of proven experience in a healthcare or similarly complex, regulated sector with demonstrated leadership and track record in Supply Planning & People Leadership

  • Team leader-coach: ability to lead, encourage and grow diverse talent in a complex landscape in the execution, strategies, and realization of functional and business goals.

  • Proven project management skills

  • Ability to zoom in and out, adapting the message and story-telling to the audience's needs

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to challenge the status quo and evaluate processes to determine if refinements would improve speed of results and efficiency or quality

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft excel and Power point

  • English - business proficient, German/ French is an asset

  • Occasional travel may be required as business demands

Preferred skills

  • Proficiency in Alteryx, PowerBi, Tableau is an asset

  • Proficiency in using supply chain planning tools and systems (SAP, OMP)

  • APICS / CSCP / LEAN / Six Sigma and certifications related to supply chain management

  • A proven track record to lead and drive operational improvement using process excellence tools

  • Good understanding of the Depuy Synthes TECA, Spine & Powertools product portfolio and the specific business challenges
