Position Snapshot: The Administrative Assistant supports all aspects of the AIM reception desk. The Administrative Assistant helps triage the front-end needs of the agency. The role provides ongoing support to the Executive Admin team for the success of planned outcomes.

Essential Functions:

  • Greet all guests who visit AIM.

  • Provide welcoming, friendly, supportive customer service.

  • Support all agency communications, including phone, email, fax, and inter-office mail.

  • Conduct bulk mailings.

  • Accept agency deliveries.

  • Schedule meetings.

  • Follow all safety regulations as outlined in AIM policies and procedures.

  • Respect and support the self-directed decisions and goals of agency consumers.

  • Support the agency's marketing efforts.

  • High attention to confidentiality.

  • Assist people with disabilities and their families by referring them to other AIM programs.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with at least five years of customer service experience

  • Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Knowledge of systems, organizations, and community-based resources that serve people with disabilities.

  • Dependable vehicle and acceptable driving record.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
