Job Title: Batching Technician

Job Description

Candidates will be working on the manufacturing floor, batching and mixing ingredients such as dry powders and seasonings. While training is provided, preference is given to candidates with experience in food, vitamin, or beverage manufacturing. The role requires working in a fast-paced packaged goods environment, ideally with beverage production experience. Familiarity with WHIMIS, HACCP, and Hygiene training is preferred. Candidates must be able to perform duties within a high stress and pressure environment, possess sound mathematical skills for handling measurements and formulas, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Environment

Food Manufacturing environment where GMPs are practiced. Candidates must wear PPE. The environment includes loud machines, can be hot during the summer, and has varying smells from spices or sweet aromas. Lifting up to 50 pounds is required.
