Minimum Qualifications Must have a valid drivers license at time of hire.Applicant will be required to obtain a NYS commercial pesticide technician license within twelve (12) months of appointment.SPECIAL NOTE: This position is a labor class position and as such is not subject to selection on the basis of seniority. Duties Description Summary:A full-time grounds worker position working Monday through Friday, with Saturday and Sunday pass-days, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM. During winter and summer months this position returns to Monday through Friday with Saturday and Sunday pass-days. Comprises 80-90% of the job and hand shoveling represents a significant portion of snow removal.
