Minimum/Required Qualifications PhD in Climate Science, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, or a closely related discipline by the start date of the position. Relevant teaching experience and evidence of or commitment to excellence in inclusive teaching and student success. Demonstrated commitment to educational equity in a multicultural setting and a commitment to advancing the participation of diverse groups and supporting diverse perspectives. Effective communicator in oral and written forms. Position Duties 80% \' Instruction: Teach courses on campus and online (Ecampus) in Climate Science and other courses aligned with the incumbent\'s expertise and programmatic needs. 10% \' Professional Currency and Program Development: Engage in activities to maintain currency and sustain professional growth in the instructor\'s discipline and pedagogy. 10% \' Service: Participate as needed on College and University committees and perform other service that contributes to the effectiveness of the College, University, and profession.
