Conducts security assessments for management to test the effectiveness of controls (ToD) and operations (ToE). Experience leading control testing teams or collaborating within the team to perform design and operating effectiveness testing of information security controls from planning, kickoff, fieldwork, testing through reporting activities, providing peer review for control testing documentation and reviewing the quality of the work for tests for accuracy and timely completion, identifying and documenting control deficiencies including root causes, risk descriptions, consistent issue ratings and recommendations for improvement, and assisting with Analyzes data obtained for evidence of deficiencies in controls, or lack of compliance with laws, government regulations, and management policies or procedures. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations for management and the testing stakeholders, including the socialization of any findings. Typically requires a four-year college degree in a related field. 5-8 years of experience preferred. 3- 5 years of experience required. Experience with Panaseer, Archer, Jira and ServiceNow, ChatGPT or automated testing would be preferred Key projects: Familiar with Testing controls with security. Worked in fast paced environment. Able to work independently. Working more Agile. Go to the comm board and see what the assignment is and what they are going to test. They may need to reach out to control owners. Will take evidence and make sure it satisfies the requirements of the control. Making sure the evidence supports what they do. They will have to complete documentation after testing.
