The Opportunity Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for a CAD Technician opening. The CAD Technician supports the Substation group of engineers by providing technical drafting support and creating construction drawings/designs under close supervision. What You'll Do Successful candidates will complete tasks within the Substation department designing/drafting projects. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and work well within a team. What We Expect from You * Two year technical degree or currently enrolled in school for Technical Drafting preferred * Knowledge of AutoCAD is required * Knowledge of Microstation is a plus * Knowledge of Autodesk Revit software a plus * Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) * Knowledge in substation electrical protection and control and/or physical design would be beneficial * Good organization and communication skills to assure projects are completed on schedule * Must have permanent authorization to work in US As you consider applying for a position at Ulteig, we encourage you to think outside the box - because we do!
