We’re seeking a collaborative Project Engineer in Coxsackie, NY to provide critical construction support to management to ensure projects stay on track. Based at our Client's field office, you’ll assist the Project Manager with payment application review, writing minutes of project meetings, preparing regular reports, field inspections as required and other duties related to construction site activities. We’ll rely on you to track performance, create change orders, draft RFIs and other construction documents, and be a part of the solution to overcome issues you’ve identified. You'll gain confidence as you coordinate with outside agencies, contractors, and other 3rd parties regarding field activities. Here’s what you’ll need :

  • 8 years’ experience on larger projects valued above $10 million or 4 years experience on construction projects plus a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management

  • Knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling, preparation of change order review and the review of payments

  • OSHA 30 Certified or ability to become certified within 30 days of hire

  • Proficient in basic computer skills utilizing Windows / Outlook / Word / Excel and scheduling applications

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management

The base salary range for this position is $68,161 to $79,268. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
