PKU Perspectives Food Production Associate in Craig, Colorado
New to the area health food business looking to hire food production associates and manager. Come be part of our team!
We manufacture specialized wholesome food products for special diets. This is a hands-on role, fast paced working 30 hours a week Monday to Thursday with Friday's off. Must be able to stand on your feet for up to 7.5 hours a day. Lifting 50 pounds is a requirement.
As a food production associate, you'll be immersed in various tasks- weighing and measuring out ingredients. Filling bags with powdered mixes, labeling and sealing them. Making finished food products ready for cold storage. Organizing, cleaning and sanitizing the workspace. Must be able to follow work orders and you will be documenting them. You will use various small food manufacturing equipment.
The ideal candidate would have basic computer skills, proficiency in reading and writing in English, basic math, and an eye for detail is a must.
A food safety course certificate would be an added advantage, but not required.
