Whitman, Requardt and Associates, LLP Water/Wastewater Engineer-Entry Level in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania

We are currently seeking an entry level Water / Wastewater Engineer in our Pittsburgh, PA Regional office. Responsibilities will include water and sewer pipeline design, modeling and rehabilitation, utility relocation services and construction administration.  Projects will include new pipelines and rehabilitation of existing pipelines throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region and will involve coordination with various disciplines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • 0 -- 4 years of water / wastewater design experience
  • Relevant Internship experience
  • Understanding of or experience designing water and wastewater facilities including pipelines, pumping systems and treatment systems
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS and water distribution and sewer modeling software a plus
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and manage time accordingly
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others
  • Passing grade on the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam or EIT preferred
