Gatwick (Hybrid in the office 2-3 times a week)

Position Summary

The Nestlé Purina Specialist Pet Care Team have a fantastic opening for a Brand Manager to join their team who will report directly into the Specialist Brands Portfolio Manager. Working on Pro Plan Dog & BETA you will be responsible for defining & implementing the UK annual brand plans to deliver agreed business results & influence key stakeholders. You will also be required to ensure long term Zone Europe brand priorities; innovation pipeline and brand communication to win and excel in the UK market.

A day in the life of a Brand Manager...

As a Brand Manager in the Specialist Marketing Team in Purina, you will be responsible for managing our advanced science Pro Plan dog portfolio and BETA, working closely with the rest of the Marketing team across total Pro Plan. You will be bringing to life the brand strategy to help achieve our ambitions, aligned with the wider business vision. Responsible for innovation launches as well as executing communication plans.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Developing a deep consumer understanding, using insights to drive brand equity through the delivery of communication and innovation projects

• Lead innovation & renovation pipeline, managing both local and European stakeholders

• Support Marketing lead on portfolio management and deployment of NPD through powerful brand plans

• Ensuring digital and social is embedded in brand communication plans, working closely with our advocacy teams across Breeder & Vet

• Strong collaboration with sales, finance, category and supply functions to ensure continued focus on brand targets

• Being a key member of the UK marketing team and ensuring the execution of our annual brand plans

What will make you successful

The successful candidate will bring with them a wealth of experience in Marketing, operating as a Brand Manager currently or looking to develop from an experienced Assistant Brand Manager position. You will be passionate, tenacious; results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as an ambassador for the brands, you will have strong project management and analytical skills. You will need to be highly organised, conscientious and a team player.

You will also demonstrate the following:

• Previous Marketing experience, preferably FMCG

• Brand building with ability for strong project management

• Can influence at senior levels both internally and externally

• Strong commercial acumen with good analytical skills (IRI/Kantar), ability to turn data into insights and actions

• Understanding of the UK retail, media & digital landscape with agency management experience

• Demonstrate creative & campaign execution with strong digital experience welcomed
