Crozier Fine Arts is the global leader in fine art storage and logistics offering unparalleled technical expertise in handling, installing, and storing high-value paintings, films, photographs, historical archives, and other types of art belonging to individual collectors, galleries and art museums. Crozier provides services and solutions that include climate-controlled facilities; digitization and conversion services; services for restoring damaged or decaying items; and highly secure transportation.

We are seeking a UK Fleet and Compliance Manager to join our team. This pivotal position is responsible for ensuring the efficient operations and maintenance of company vehicles. You will work with and report directly to the Technical Services Manager and collaborate with our Transport Planning and Technical teams. Your primary focus will be overseeing all aspects of fleet management, including servicing, repairs, compliance with regulations, and procurement.

Your role in our mission

  • Ensure company vehicles are serviced and maintained within manufacturers' recommendations and in accordance with Crozier UK's operator’s licence.

  • Coordinate with service agents to minimize fleet downtime.

  • Oversee repairs to ensure they are completed effectively and economically within a reasonable timeframe.

  • Manage the delivery and collection of trucks from MOT testing centres and repair shops.

  • Order stock parts for fleet vehicles and plant equipment.

  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance for all company vehicles.

  • Ensure the company complies with its operator’s licence terms, including statutory requirements for drivers and technicians, and analyse tachograph data quarterly.

  • Assist with the design and evolution of new vehicle specifications, and project manage new vehicle procurement and compliance.

  • Complete necessary paperwork for Crozier vehicles involved in accidents and liaise with motor insurance providers regarding claims.

Valued skills and experience

  • Proven experience in running fleet vehicles and repairing fleet vehicles & plant equipment.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing Health & Safety in the workplace.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent record-keeping skills.

  • Possess the following certifications: Level D – Aviation Security Training, First aid at work certified, HGV licence (CPC - Certificate of Professional Competence for both drivers and operators)

  • In-depth knowledge of UK transportation regulations, including operator’s licence requirements, tachograph rules, and the London Borough Transport Scheme for vehicles 18-ton GVW+.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform hands-on repairs and oversee complex maintenance tasks.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with technical teams, management, and service providers.

  • Proficiency in using fleet management software and tools for tracking maintenance schedules, compliance data, and vehicle performance metrics.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions quickly and effectively.
