This position is responsible for weighing, grading and inserting bacon into cartons to specifications rotating through all the line work stations as per daily schedule. Core Responsibilities Positions bacon unit on scale and adjusts weight to specifications. Insure bacon is on board neatly as directed by leadership. Properly positions bacon unit into Confirmation station. Visually checks to assure unit position is correct to avoid leakers. Checks weight tolerance of manual and electronic scales for proper setting. Grasps opened leaker drafts and returns them through Multivac as needed. When Multivac machine stops, Packer/Scaler corrects the problem and restarts the machine. Grades each unit by observation and asides leakers. Properly positions bacon and correctly inserts proper grade into its carton. Opens leakers for rework. - Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
