Shift: 6p-6a (rotating schedule)

As an Extrusion Operator, you’ll take charge of operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced extrusion equipment, ensuring our production lines run smoothly. What You’ll Do:
Gain a thorough understanding of all aspects and operating parameters of the extruders, water systems, dryers, and loaders.
Perform extruder setup, teardown, and preparation, including installing dies and spreader blocks.
Mix resins and operate rod and plate extruders, ensuring proper startup and shutdown procedures.
Clean and maintain equipment, including hoppers, dies, ovens, saws, and more.
Accurately complete reporting paperwork and follow all safety regulations.
Identify, measure, and label finished products, ensuring they meet quality specifications.
What We’re Looking For:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
One to three months of related experience or training is ideal, though we’re willing to train the right candidate!
Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations.
Ability to read and follow instructions, schematics, and memos.
Confidence operating a forklift, scales, and production equipment.
Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot standardized situations.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
You’ll need to be comfortable standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and occasional high or precarious places.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
