Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Dallas, Texas

Description We are inviting applications for the role of an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Dallas, Texas. The position is integral to our accounting department and offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be tasked with maintaining and managing client billing, provider payroll processing, and resolving any financial discrepancies.

Responsibilities:

• Generate work orders weekly for client billing and provider payroll processing.

• Conduct credit checks on clients to ensure credibility.

• Handle all vendor correspondence via phone or email.

• Review and verify client’s contracts for bill rate and purchase requisitions.

• Assist in resolving client invoice disputes or provider payment disputes.

• Maintain provider payment information to ensure accurate delivery of paychecks or electronic ACH transfers.

• Reconcile and correct work orders in a timely manner.

• Prepare, record, process, and post accounts payable and receivables, and cash disbursements.

• Maintain monthly credit card expense transactions by reconciling provider travel transactions to work orders in the billing system and enter credit card transactions into the accounting system.

• Assist the Accounting Department with monthly account reconciliations and month-end close. Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a minimum of 3 years.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Demonstrated skills in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Experience in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections.

• Familiarity with Commercial Collections processes.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
