Our Assistant Controller, is responsible in playing a critical role in ensuring the completeness and integrity of our financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in month end close, supporting the year end audit, operational improvement, preparing schedules for quarterly reporting, and performing comprehensive Balance Sheet Reviews.

What You’ll Do:

Quarterly Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate and timely schedules to support the Quarterly Reporting filings.

  • Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, including the accurate presentation of financial information and adherence to disclosure requirements .

Financial Reporting:

  • Lead the preparation of schedules for Financial Reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and support the timely and accurate completion of financial reports.

Balance Sheet Review:

  • Perform detailed Balance Sheet Reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.

  • Analyze and reconcile accounts, investigate variances, and communicate findings to the controller and senior management.

Data Analysis Expertise:

  • Utilize advanced data analysis tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from financial data.

  • Implement data-driven strategies to enhance the quality and efficiency of financial reporting processes.

Internal Controls and Process Improvement:

  • Implement and monitor internal controls related to financial reporting processes.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting activities.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including accounting teams, auditors, and legal counsel, to facilitate the financial reporting process.

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • CPA certification strongly preferred.

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting roles.

  • Thorough understanding of SEC regulations and financial reporting requirements.

  • Experience in preparing schedules for Quarterly SEC Reporting and Financial Reporting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail.

  • Ability to perform comprehensive Balance Sheet Reviews and articulate findings to stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and senior management.
