Join our team! Successful and leading title insurance agency seeks a highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Attorney & National Escrow Officer with a positive attitude to be a part of our team. The ideal candidate must have at least 8 years of experience in a similar role. Attention to detail, great communication skills (verbal & written) great organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete National Commercial Real Estate transactions from start to close; curative work, assemble, prepare and review closing documents; disburse funds; record documents.

  • Ability to perform all tasks and functions of an Attorney & Escrow Officer.

  • Ability to complete commercial resale, refinance, or builder escrow transactions.

  • Ability to deposit escrow funds, prepare disbursements and balance all escrow related accounts.

  • Effectively solicit escrow and title business from Realtors, lenders, builders, sellers, and buyers.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with individuals through social, professional, and community groups, which promote the goodwill of the Company and develop future business.

  • Conduct closings with Clients

  • Obtain and maintain escrow and/or title business while adhering to all Company policies and Government regulations.

  • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

  • Assist team as necessary and as directed.

  • Perform general office functions as necessary. Perform other duties as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor; active and current member of State Bar

  • 8+ years of Experience

  • Escrow Officer License

  • Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships

  • The ability to read, analyze and interpret complex legal documents

  • The ability to apply logic or legal principles to a wide variety of complex problems

  • Expert knowledge of the title insurance industry, including knowledge of its products, policies, and endorsements

  • Knowledge of commercial insurance coverage, and real estate terminology

Desire Qualifications:

  • Good organization skills and effectively managing complex commercial real estate transactions

  • Effectively follow policies, procedures, and concepts within the title industry

  • Self-motivated team player with excellent customer service skills, professional written and oral communication skills, and the ability to maintain and develop client relationships

  • Knowledge of SoftPro Select a plus

  • Great time management skills

  • Outstanding work ethic with the ability to work in both team oriented and self-directed environments.

  • Detail-oriented and professional; able to handle confidential information.

  • High level of accountability

  • Customer service oriented

  • Creative problem-solving skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
